The Vision
Owner and Founder of High & Tight — Jimmy Barton brainstormed the idea of High & Tight for many months. The idea simply came from experiencing sub par services from salons all over the southeast. Most places are not at the cleanliness level that men deserve. Most places are not solely focused on providing services geared just toward men. Most places are not offering comprehensive mens grooming and hair care services. All of that combined led to the idea that there simply has got to be a better way.
We simply are not focused on ladies hair needs. Sorry ladies but this one is for the guys. We offer every service that a man could want provided by licensed barbers and cosmetologists. We do so in a uniquely plush friendly environment with a vintage look and feel. We strive to make you feel at home or the way you feel at your favorite hunting camp or your favorite hangout. We provide cold beer, coffee and other beverages in an accommodating lounge area where you can relax and watch your favorite ball game. We will always have an extremely clean and sanitary salon from wall to wall and floor to ceiling. We will have only friendly, beautiful, professional stylists and employees. We will offer non traditional hours open late so that busy professionals don't have to miss work to get a haircut.
